Our Family's Journey: Crafting Soaps in a Wisconsin Kitchen

evenyce brand story

Evenyce wasn’t a coincidence—it was a necessity born from a moment I’ll never forget.

In April 2020, when the pandemic first hit, I went searching for something as simple as soap and toilet paper. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. The supermarket shelves were completely empty of both, and a wave of panic and anxiety washed over me.

That moment of desperation sparked something deeper. My son, who lives with autism and sensory processing disorder, has incredibly sensitive skin. Commercial soaps were too harsh, loaded with unnecessary toxins that left him (and me) red, itchy, and uncomfortable. I also battle extremely dry and sensitive skin because of my autoimmune condition, Sjögren’s Syndrome. I knew we both deserved better.

So I set out to create something truly gentle—a soap that would nourish instead of strip, heal instead of harm. I spent months educating myself about every single ingredient: its properties, its benefits, and exactly how it would affect the most sensitive skin. After countless trials, I finally crafted a balanced, loving formula that worked beautifully for my son, for me, and for the rest of our family.

Like all good things in life, something this special was meant to be shared.

That’s why Evenyce exists today. So you and your loved ones can experience the difference that pure, plant-based ingredients and natural minerals can make. Since switching to our cold-process bars—which keep all the skin-loving natural glycerin that most commercial soaps remove—we no longer feel that familiar burning or itching after bathing. Our skin feels calm, hydrated, and truly cared for.

We created Evenyce out of love, necessity, and a promise: gentle cleanliness should never come at the cost of your comfort or health. We’re so glad you’re here, and we can’t wait for you to feel the difference too.
